Cole Krug is a filmmaker, writer, and photographer based in Los Angeles.
He attended NYU Tisch School of the Arts where he earned a double major BFA in Dramatic Writing and Film & Television Production. NYU's MLK Scholars program awarded him a $100,000 scholarship to attend NYU Tisch for his exemplary leadership and community service.
While at NYU he was selected as one of 12 students to attend the NYU in London: Screenwriting study abroad program, has been featured in the annual Rita & Burton Goldberg Dramatic Writing Monologue Festival, and won the Sight & Sound Showcase for his original scene from his screenplay Devils & Dust. He was selected as one of 8 thesis students to participate in a six session seminar with Oscar-nominated screenwriter E. Max Frye (Foxcatcher; Something Wild) to further develop a screenplay.
At Rockstar Games, Cole worked as a virtual cinematographer and editor on cutscenes for major releases including Red Dead Redemption II, which generated $725 million in sales during its opening weekend and, as of May 2024, has sold more than 61 million units worldwide — becoming the 7th best-selling game of all time.
Cole is currently developing projects for film & TV.
